Duty / Bar Manager

Whether it’s dinner on the front balcony or a few relaxed drinks out back in the beer garden,
you will find no other oasis for hundreds of kilometres. Located in Daly River, NT the hotel
is proudly owned and operated by the local community, Nauiyu Nambiyu, so our customers

Currently The Daly River Inn is hiring a Hospitality Manager who could be a natural leader with
experience in multiple hospitality settings.

Hourly Rate: $33.38 – Level 3 food and beverage attendant grade-3
Casual

Duties include:

  • – Professionally welcome and seat guests, offering menus and details about daily specials.
  • – Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar personnel.
  • – Serve food and drinks to patrons promptly and professionally; efficiently
  • – Process payments and manage point-of-sale systems; set and clear tables while ensuring the cleanliness of dining areas during service.
  • – Maintain and clean service areas, dining spaces, and equipment.
  • – Assist with basic food preparation and plating as needed.
  • – Promptly and courteously address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • – Replenish service areas with linens, condiments, and supplies; support special events, functions, and catering services.
  • – Close the bar at the end of the night, including securing cash, locking up premises, ensuring RSA compliance, and completing required end-of-day reports.
  • – Strictly adhere to food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety procedures.
  • – Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure comprehensive menu knowledge.
  • – Assist in inventory management and stock control.
  • – Provide guests with information about local attractions and services.
  • – Supervise, train and manage other hospitality workers to ensure their duties are being performed competently
